This two-hour webinar will provide instruction in the typical procedures for establishing the location of the safe upland line on freshwater lakes and rivers for area computations used by the State of Florida for submerged land leases and easements.  The webinar will also discuss how and why the State of Florida invented the term “Safe Upland Line” in 1983 and how the term continues to be used within the State by professional surveyors and mappers.
